Founder’s Message: Feel Better, Do Better, Be Better

When we launched MONQ +cbd in May, I mentioned that I never imagined launching a product in the middle of a pandemic, and yet, that’s exactly what MONQ did. Since the debut of the line, we’ve had the privilege of expanding MONQ + not once, but twice. It seems odd to be expanding in a time of uncertainty and during which we, as a global community, are experiencing greater restriction. But it is an encouragement nonetheless.

Because of your support, the synergy of our staff, and our product expansion, MONQ is weathering this storm. We are a small business, and we’re keeping our staff employed and safe — in remote work environments where possible and with protective masks, gloves, and improved air filtration when working in our lab and fulfillment center.

Those advanced safety measures are also being taken to protect you, our customers. Our lab and fulfillment team is being extra vigilant when handling products and ensuring our spaces remain clean and sanitized. We’ve also temporarily asked our retailers to increase their safety measures by removing testers from shelves and asking how we can facilitate this process.

Outside of our headquarters, we’re partnering with other small businesses. MONQ calls Nashville home, and just before the pandemic began affecting our daily life, Nashville experienced devastating tornadoes. Our local communities and small businesses have been especially vulnerable these past few months. That’s why we’ve worked hard to be #NashvilleStrong by donating items to tornado relief, initially, and partnering with local, small businesses in our social media giveaways to promote them.

Our support is not limited to our local communities. We’ve reached out to MONQ retailers and offered expanded sales and partnership opportunities, like allowing online sales, to ensure they can keep their doors “open” and employees healthy.

All of this to say, as our physical world may feel more restricted, our connections and communities are expanding and growing in support and kindness. We hope you’ll contribute by supporting small businesses, reaching out to others, and taking time for your own self-care. Because together — as a community — we can feel better, do better, and be better TM .
